FAG H206 Adapter Sleeve is a mounting accessory used to secure tapered-bore bearings on cylindrical shafts. It simplifies installation and removal of spherical roller and self-aligning ball bearings, reducing shaft machining complexity and maintenance time.
It consists of a tapered sleeve, locknut, and lock washer or locking device. Tightening the nut drives the bearing inner ring onto the taper and clamps it to the shaft.
Verify bearing bore taper, shaft diameter, sleeve series, locknut size, and residual clearance after mounting.
