Overview
Lock rings and spacer washers are precision hardened-steel parts that axially position a bearing on its shaft or in its housing. Tab washers (MB and MBL series), plain spacer rings, and stabilizing rings absorb the tolerance stack-up between the bearing, the shoulder, and the retaining nut and prevent the bearing from drifting axially in service.
