Overview

INA EGF10070-E40-B-Y Plain Bushing (Sliding Bearing Bush) is a sliding component that carries load through a plain contact surface, without balls or rollers. Wrapped steel bushes such as INA EGB and EGF, with a sintered bronze or PTFE liner, provide low friction in a thin section, serving pivot joints and guides that see radial load or oscillating and reciprocating motion.

The body is formed from steel strip rolled into a cylinder, with a sliding liner bonded to the bore. Surface oil grooves or an impregnated lubricant maintain lubrication, and maintenance-free or relubricated types, in plain or flanged form, are selected to suit the mounting.
